Dogs
Morning
CLOSE LIVING ROOM GATE AND PICK UP CAT TREAT BOWLS
Let out to garage kennel every morning. Be sure to close kennel door on the inside kennel after dogs are out so cats don’t get in.
Fill water buckets from laundry room sink (NOT the hose; the hose water is not run through the filter)
Inside the kennel, there will be 2 stainless steel food bowls in their holders on the side of the cage; there are also 2 stainless steel food bowls on top of the white plastic bin that holds the dog food. Use the dishes that are on the white plastic bin to make the dog food in, and then when you put them out, collect the old bowls and replace them with the new bowls. Bring the old bowls in and wash in utility sink with a paper towel and then put on white plastic bin for the next morning.
Dogs are fed 2 bowls with the following in each-1/2 scoop dry (from white plastic bin in garage), then go inside and add 1 dasequin chew in each bowl, and 1/2 a can of wet dog food in each bowl. Mix the canned in with the dry really well.
They are only fed in the morning.
Treats can be given whenever
Night
IMPORTANT!!! Shut gate to living room and OPEN ONE DOOR TO THEIR KENNEL.
Bring dogs into dining room kennel at night; bribe into kennel with treats
We have both water fountains and steel cups set out for the cats to drink out of. They are placed in most of the rooms of the house. For all critters on all floors, top off water in fountains as needed morning and night and replace water in cups morning and night. When replacing water in cups, wipe out with a paper towel or your hand really well to get the slime that forms on the cup out. If the fountains aren’t spraying properly, unplug it and take to the sink and spray out the pump part and refill.
Canned foods go in small paper bowls and the used paper cat bowls and cans go in little white garbage can in dining room; when 3/4 full, hit button on the front of the garbage can twice and it will seal the bag. Remove the bag and close, and it will automatically dispense new bag. Take the cat food trash out to the garbage cans in front of the shed when you leave.
There is fresh litter for litter boxes all around-morning and evening, make sure automatics are level to line, hit cycle if need to flush. Evening check drawers in boxes to make sure they don’t need a new bag. Especially make sure litter box in Spooky’s upstairs green bedroom is flushing because if it is not, she will pee and poop on the bed.
If any seem stuck, turn off, wait a minute, then turn back on. If that doesn’t work, check poop tray underneath and make sure it doesn’t need a new bag. Also try pulling the litter box away from the wall, sometimes the cats push them back and if it is hitting the wall it can’t turn properly.
Catio-Open door in morning (not everyone is smart enough to use the flap, so you need to prop it open wide enough for a cat to get in/out, and then leave the interior door open enough for a cat to get in/out). Double check to make sure the screens are in good shape just in case something has torn the screen in the night or Addie has hung on the screen and pulled it out. Also make sure outside door is firmly latched.
Make sure everyone is in and lock at night.
MAKE SURE YOU CHECK UNDER THE PORCH SWING-You can’t see underneath it when you lean out the door, you need to go out on the porch to check.
If the weather is going to be hot, only let them out in the morning until around 11, then get everyone in and close the door, and let them back out in the evening until time to lock for the night.
Main Floor
**Morning and evening, after feeding, fill treat bowls with temptations and party mix
Morning
Dining room:
Gracie has her own bin-1 packet in the morning. Once she finishes with packet, she gets 1/2 jar of baby food with a healthy pinch of fiber powder. Give the other 1/2 to the other kitties-you can sit it at the feeding station around the corner in the living room. Once she finishes her baby food, Grace also gets a small bowl of goat milk. After she is done with the goat milk, be sure to put it down by the feeding station in the living room; otherwise, it will get knocked down off the counter by clumsy cats 😊
Harry will be behind you, he likes the chicken with cheese in broth, give that to him
Illira (Duck) is usually on the counter, she likes any loaf/pate. Also, she wants her bowl of food in the square cat scratching box.
Also top off Dry food bowls in kitchen, on table, in the guest bath, and on top of dog crate by the cat teepees. The dry food is in the coat closet in the dining room. Make sure the type you put in matches what was in the bowl before.
Fish in Dining room-saltwater pinch of pelleted kibble, goldfish rotate 3 different types of food-give a pinch.
Living room:
4 cans go in the living room; whatever Grace, Illira, and Harry don’t finish, put in the living room
Living room also gets small bowl of goat milk
Fish in living room get fed from food under tv in bedroom; alternate kinds each feeding
Master bath in bedroom:
3 cans go in the bathroom in the master bedroom. There should be a treat bowl, dry food bowl, and water cup that also needs to be kept up. There is also a dry food bowl and fountain on the counter that will need kept full.
Top off dry food bowls; Dry food for bathroom is Royal Canin in cabinet under the sink
Fish in bedroom get fed from food under tv in bedroom; alternate kinds each feeding
Night
Same as above, except they don’t get goat milk at night, and the Fish get frozen food (on the bottom shelf of the door of the freezer in the kitchen). Goldfish get 2 cubes, salt gets 1 cube, 125 in living room gets 4 cubes (2 on each end), 1 cube in tank in bedroom.
Bedroom
Make sure you fill the water cup next to the couch in the bedroom morning and night; that is a popular cup
Office
Buttercup in the office is on a restricted diet (Ultamino); she gets ¼ cup in a bowl in the morning and at night. Put a Fortiflora packet on top of the food each time. She also has a water bowl that needs to be wiped out and refilled morning and night.
Guinea pigs get veggies in the morning (bottom refrigerator crisper drawer). The veggies go in the 2 white ceramic bowls. Pick up the veggie bowls at night and put in kitchen sink to be washed and get clean ones in the morning (or just pick them up and rinse them out each morning, either one).
Stuff Hay into hanging rack on back of cage and into hay ball at night (hay is in corner of office under cat tree)
Also keep their dry kibble full (it is in the plastic storage bin with the blue lid) and check their water
Upstairs
Morning and Night
Birds- dump water into the upstairs toilet, wipe out, refill, and put back in.
Fill chicken food bowls on bottom of the aviary.
Make sure aviary door is closed immediately when you go in, the little birds will try to get out and are very fast
Spooky (upstairs green bedroom)-fill food (she is on Ultamino food ONLY, and cannot have regular food-she has IBD; her food is in her room) and change water. She also gets 1/2 jar chicken baby food, give other 1/2 to library kitties. Make sure litter box in Spooky’s upstairs green bedroom is flushing because if it is not, she will pee and poop on the bed.
Library (maroon room)
Morning and Night
2 cans wet food (cans are on the book shelf)
Fill dry food (bag in prep room)
Give treats (on library shelf) and other 1/2 of Spooky’s baby food
Sci Fi Library (Blue room)
Make sure when you leave that you have latched the door
Morning and Evening
2 cans wet (on white bench in front of the window) (no dry)
Give Treats
Give Betta a pinch of food in the morning
Shed Cats
Elmer (all black) and Crash (Orange and White) have to stay in the shed or they will beat people up.
Morning and Night
Top off/clean water bowls. Keep an eye on water bowls, sometimes Elmer will pee in them (he’s a special guy)
2 cans of wet food
Fill little bowls with treats
Fill dry (from plastic tote with blue lid underneath table by food and water)
Elmer (all black) gets 2 clicks of meds in ear at night; alternate ears. Meds are up on the photo frames above the table. Keep up there because otherwise Elmer runs off with them.
Definitely make sure there is no poop or pee in litter boxes or Elmer will mark. If you see he has peed somewhere, there is cleaner and paper towel on the wrought iron shelves between the fridges. Keep the paper towel up out of Elmer’s reach or he will destroy them and then pee on them (he’s a special guy but we love him anyway *lol* )
Outside Critters
Outside Critters (Birds, Raccoons, Skunks, Opossums, etc)
The food for the wildlife is located in the storage bin by the duck shed.

For critters,
5 pitchers of cat food in the covered feeding area- 2 pitchers each in the big pans, 1 pitcher in the little pan
